We have all seen the guys that top the scoreboards in every game and I believe that everybody envies them in one way or another but what makes them different from everyone else? How do they constantly pull out epic performances game-in-game-out. Well I thought I would compile a list of ways to help you improve your Kill/Death ratio and become the ultimate MW3 player.

General Gameplay Tips

#1 Take you time!

Sprinting about all over the place will get you killed almost instantly, I see loads of people sprinting all over the place and they get killed almost instantly by players due to the fact that the oposing players can aim far faster than you and start firing their weapon at you first, leaving you at a huge disadvantage. So my advice is to take you time and move slowly when around enemies and make sure that you have your weapon raised at all times, aiming towards gaps where enemies may appear and you will find yourself picking up easy kills.

#2 Make sure you know where the enemy are!

Keep an eye on your radar at all times and make sure you aren’t going to run straight into the heart of the enemy’s spawn zone. Instead try to guage where abouts your enemy are and try to flank them as this can really help you to pick up loads of easy kills against enemies that are not expecting you. Stay on the fringes though as venturing too far into the enemies spawn area will inevitably lead to you dying.

#3 Reload!

If you have just killed someone and have safely gotten behind cover then make sure that you reload your weapon before venturing out from cover again. Having an empty clip can mean disaster when you go up against several enemies so having a full clip at all times can really impact your scores!

#4 Experiment with Different Class Setups!

Try mixing things up every now and again, swap out old perks for new ones that you haven’t tried before. Perks can really help to improve your play style. If for example you like to flank your enemies, then swapping in Assassin as one of your perks would be very worthwhile as this would mean that the enemy cannot see you on their mini-maps and you have a better chance of building up streaks.

#5 Watch your killcam!

Core players make sure to watch your killcams! The more you watch your killcams the more you pickup on where you went wrong and what you could do in the future to avoid such mistakes. A great player is one that is constantly learning from his mistakes and trying to constantly improve himself as a player and you need to start doing this if you want to become the best and the only way to do this is to keep playing!

#6 Keep Calm

The best players perform well under any situations as they are able to keep calm even when they keep getting noob-tubed from halfway across the map. Keeping calm also makes sure that you keep a cool head and don’t rush into situations out of sheer frustration as this usually just leads to your demise.
